The sixteen five-voice motets that lie at the heart of the collection — a compendium of mid-sixteenth-century European polyphony, from the Iberian manner of Clamabat autem to the Gombert-like continuity of Emendemus in melius and the Latin madrigal Quid montes.
Double album, 2 CD, 2h12. Released on 4 September 2026, it completes the recording of the 1551 print.
Vicente Lusitano · motets for six and eight voices
The seven large-scale motets that close the print, among them the eight-voice Inviolata and Preter rerum seriem — responses to Josquin's famous settings in five and six parts, using the same material to build new textures and to extend the musical narrative.

The first album devoted to Francisco de Santa Maria, a sixteenth-century Portuguese composer whose work had never been recorded. Recorded in 2022 with funding from Fundação GDA.
